The farm of Pieve a Salti was founded in 1978. Since then its 700 hectares set in the Senese hills have been cultivated using a rotation system of cereals and animal feeds. The conversion to a system of biological cultivation was initiated in 1996, at which time space was also given over to vegetables.
The farm, organic certified at the beginning of 1998, added a process to the producion line in order to finish the production chain, with the completion durind 2002 of a plant for cleaning, cutting and confection.
Products
We sow, harvest and trasform almost all of our entire production ourselves.
All of the items consisting of cereals, soups, vegetables, conserves and extra virgin olive oil are produced entirely by us.
The Pasta is made from our flour or bran produced from our carefully selected cereals.
The Italian Association of Biological Agricolture certifies all the products.
